Year-round the arts and humanities are an integral part of Sheridan. Concerts, children’s and adult theatrical productions, art galleries, silversmiths, cowboy poets, writers, saddlemakers and leathercrafters. The Sheridan area is rich in artistic talents.
Celebrate the Arts Festival, the second weekend in June, showcases new on-loan sculptures and local artists demonstrating their talents in downtown stores and on the sidewalk.
Downtown Sculptures
Sheridan’s downtown in recent years has become as popular a draw for art lovers as it has traditionally been for shoppers. From a reflection of the city’s historic roots to the purely whimsical – from the Bozeman Trail Scout at the corner of Main Street and Grinnell Plaza to the rhino just a few blocks away – artwork abounds.
Big West Arts Festival
For two days in August Sheridan College campus becomes a metropolis of culinary, visual and performing art as the annual Festival unites artists to chowcase diverse and fibrant talent represented by artists worldwide.
WYO Theater
