Current Tenant: City Hall
55 E. Grinnell Plaza

A handsome brick building with an entry flanked by pillars, Sheridan’s City Hall was built in 1910. This building replaced the town hall at 112 N. Main, in a location near where the original wood framed city hall was located at the intersection of Grinnell and Main. The town hall continued to function as the fire station. The original fire bell from the old fire station and town hall not sits in front of City Hall as a testament to where the city government used to be located.
