Current Tenant: Rainbow Bar
264 N. Main

This building was originally occupied by Oscar Nelson’s Opera Saloon. The Nelson name can still be seen on the building facade. The Rainbow Bar and Elgin Rooms later opened and were operated very effectively in this location, along with other nearby hotels, by a “business woman” in one of the world’s oldest professions. At the back of the Rainbow Bar was the last of Sheridan’s two-story outhouses.
