Jeannie Weissman Anderson owns InnoVation Grants & Development, LLC, located on E. Loucks Street in Downtown Sheridan. InnoVation secures funding and resources to support projects or business plans that include grant writing, fundraising, sponsorships and events. Anderson primarily works with non-profits and private business owners, advising them on long-term and short-term business strategies.
Anderson located her business in downtown Sheridan because she enjoys the experience of working downtown. “What I love most about Sheridan is the people,” says Anderson. “I love being able to walk down the street and grab a coffee as well as offer my clients the convenience of being downtown, for their ease in connecting with me. I am able to offer an accessible and pleasing environment for our meetings, adequate workspace and a view of the mountains from my second floor office.”
She expresses a dedication to Sheridan Main Street. “I have always been committed to helping the health of Sheridan Main Street,” explains Anderson. “I was previously on the board, and now that I have an office downtown again, I wanted the opportunity to be more actively involved. I am passionate about real estate and aesthetics, so I am on the Design Committee where I can contribute to the team that is working with Main St business owner to enhance and maintain the viability of our main street resources.”
When she’s not working or helping the DSA, Anderson keeps busy with a variety of interests. “Life is good, filled with dance, music, sports, and travel with my teenagers: son Brice and daughter Eliza, and my husband Kevin Anderson, as well as our Labradors and friends. Cooking for my family and friends, playing hockey, skiing fresh powder, enjoying the beach, eating fresh seafood, sitting by a fire, or reading a good book are all favorite activities.
