Downtown Sheridan provides a great mix of retail interspersed with restaurants and professional businesses. One of those professional firms is Crowley Fleck, a large, regional firm that focusses on due diligence, acquisitions and divestitures, and title work for the oil and gas and energy industries.  James (Jim) Mowry is a Partner at the firm’s Sheridan Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Department.  He also represents clients in litigation matters in state and federal courts.  “Sheridan is a great place to have an office,” says Jim Mowry.  “When you work in town you are close to everything.”

Jim became involved with the Downtown Sheridan Association when he met, then-DSA Board President, John Smith in 2010. “He was one of the first people I got to know in Sheridan, and he has been very helpful as a realtor. In addition, my kids love his bookstore (Sheridan Stationery).  Jim loves helping with the Farmers Market, the Annual Wine Fest, Goose Creek Polo Cup, and with the flower baskets.  He currently is the Secretary for the DSA Board of Directors and sits on multiple committees.  “Having lived in several other towns across the state of Wyoming, my family and I appreciate it for its sense of community and its unique shops.”
