Looking for some fun clothes for yourself, your teenager or your baby? Streetwear Clothing has been owned by Shannon Kuzara for 25 years, and has been in its current location for 22 years. The store carries everything from juniors, women’s, men’s and baby clothes, along with a large variety of beautiful scarves, one-of-a-kind purses and jewelry.
“I enjoy talking to customers and helping them find what they are looking for,” says Shannon. “We buy small quantities of clothes so not everyone is wearing the same thing.”
Shannon loves downtown Sheridan. Not only do she and her husband, Steve, own their store in downtown Sheridan, but they live above their store. In fact, they raised five sons there, which Shannon chuckles was a real boon. “The boys could never use the excuse they didn’t have a car to drive to work, because they could—and did—work in a lot of downtown businesses. When you live in town, you’re close to the library, YMCA, movies—it’s all here.”
She enjoys being on the board of the DSA because she feels the organization is an intimate group of people who love the spirit of downtown. “We have wonder volunteers. The more volunteers, the better!” she says.
Shannon has been married to Steve Kuzara for 25 years.
