Spencer was born in Buffalo, Wyoming and has lived in Sheridan for most of his life. Spencer is the third generation of Kraft’s Fine Jewelry, which has served the Sheridan community since 1964. Spencer was practically raised in the store and started working at the age of 13. In the year 2007, he spent a year in California working for a telecommunication company, learning and experiencing the “real world.” Between 2011 & 2012, Spencer owned a small custom engraving business and managed a used furniture store. Spencer went back to work for the family business in 2012. Since then he has completed five courses from the Gemological Institute of America and is actively working to become a graduate gemologist. Spencer, also serves on the CHAPS board as Vice-President and Treasurer. Spencer has been volunteering for the DSA since 2010 and is now the chairman of the 3rd Thursday Street Festival and Historic Downtown Promotions Committee. Spencer says that being from Sheridan is quite awesome/unique and wants to make sure Sheridan’s traditions are held on to and grown. Spencer loves everything about and volunteering for DSA! In his personal life he enjoys traveling, working on his home and spending quality time with family and friends.
