As the summer starts, the Downtown Sheridan Association is pleased to announce and welcome new staff.

Destiny Park has joined the DSA team as the Events Coordinator. Park will be responsible for events for DSA such as 3rd Thursday and Farmers Market.  Park is a Sheridan, Wyoming native who loves her hometown. She holds an associate degree and is working towards her bachelor’s. Park has five plus years of experience with running events for holidays, creating menus, customer relations, and management. “I am thrilled to be a part of the DSA team and excited to start a new challenge.  I was attracted by Downtown Sheridan Association’s mission to preserve and enhance Sheridan’s historic downtown. I love the Sheridan area and cannot thank Downtown Sheridan Association enough for this opportunity.”

Cora Crecelius has joined the team as the Administrative Assistant. Crecelius is thrilled to return to her hometown and looks forwards to our summer events.  Crecelius brings master’s degrees in public health and legal studies, extensive experience in community program development and coalition building, and a deep love of home to DSA. Her desire to continue learning will serve her well as she begins meeting members of our historic downtown in her new role and takes part in our many events over the coming months.

Mikkayla DeBolt will be taking on the role as Summer Intern. As the Summer Intern, DeBolt will be consulting with our team to coordinate and facilitate our events. She will also be collaborating with our members to continue to enhance our downtown. She has grown up in Sheridan for almost all her life and knows the ins and outs of the town. DeBolt will be entering her senior year at Black Hills State University in the fall. She is double majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Tourism and Hospitality and Marketing. When she graduates, she would like to become an Event Planner. During her free time DeBolt can be found reading a book in her hammock, camping with her family, or laughing with friends. She is very excited for the summer and ready to embrace all that DSA has to offer!
