There's lots to enjoy this Mother's Day weekend in Sheridan and beyond! Grab your friends, head downtown to your favorite spot, and soak up the sunshine— plus, don’t miss out on special Mother’s Day deals all around Downtown Sheridan! Head to The Hub on Smith, a Center for All Generations from 1–3 PM for the Stitch Please! Stitching Group! Whether you’re starting a personal project or teaming up on something new, this is the perfect space to create, collaborate, and get inspired! Please bring your own sewing machine, and a $5 voluntary donation!! Everyone is welcome! Later this evening at 7 PM, head over to Luminous Brewhouse for a live music set by Will Nutt. Enjoy a fresh brew, relax with friends, and take in a great night of local music in a welcoming setting! Saturday morning at 10:30 AM Sheridan Stationery Books and Gifts is hosting their May story time! Bring your little ones for some monster themed stories, and start your Saturday out downtown with some silly and fun tales. Shortly after, Petals & Pop-Ups at the Ice Haus Eatery is happening from 12–5 PM Saturday! Enjoy permanent jewelry, custom bouquets, a custom cap bar by ALL CAPS, and IV therapy. Flowers are going up on Main Street! The DSA is looking for volunteers to assist with logistics, transplanting, and hanging of gorgeous petunias on Sunday, May 18th. This is an awesome and fun opportunity to get your volunteer hours, be apart of a community effort, and contribute making our downtown even more beautiful! Saturday from 12–6 PM for their Annual Artist Reception featuring the talented local artist Gabrielle Wollert! Explore exciting new additions to her artwork collection, along with other unique items like postcards, car diffusers, wine from Verdello, and more! Saturday, later on at 7 PM, enjoy an unforgettable evening with Jalan Crossland, Wyoming’s own award-winning guitarist and banjo virtuoso. Hailing from the mountain town of Ten Sleep, Jalan brings a powerful mix of bluegrass, Americana, and alternative country to the stage—don’t miss the chance to experience his raw energy and masterful musicianship live at the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center.
