As summer winds down and the kids settle back into school, we find ourselves gearing up for the grand finale of our event season. We invite you to join us on Saturday, September 14th, for the 23rd Annual Wine Festival on Grinnell Plaza. This year’s theme, “Sheridan Uncorked,” promises to bring out the best in wine, food, and fashion, with a dress code of cocktail classy. Olha’s Market will be catering the event, and trust me, you won’t want to miss out on their incredible food spread.

Tickets are now on sale at Verdello Olive Oils & Fine Foods, The Clothing Co. & Baby Too, Side Street Bed and Bath, and Security State Bank. The event kicks off with an exclusive VIP Champagne Reception from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the back patio of Verdello Olive Oils & Fine Foods, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. The Main Event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This beloved annual fundraiser is more than just an evening of fine wines and good company—it’s an opportunity to support the Downtown Sheridan Association’s (DSA) ongoing mission. The proceeds from this event help sustain a wide range of initiatives that make downtown Sheridan a beautiful and vibrant place to live, work, and visit. From the hanging flower baskets that brighten Main Street to the festivals that bring our community together, every dollar raised plays a vital role in preserving and enhancing the character of our historic downtown.

We couldn’t achieve this without the unwavering support of our vendors, whose generosity and participation help us bring these events to life. Their contributions ensure that the DSA can continue its important work in promoting downtown Sheridan and securing its future prosperity.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Mark your calendars for the final 3rd Thursday Street Festival of the season on Thursday, September 19th. Join us for an evening of music, food, and festivities, with The Nate Champion Band taking the main stage for a performance you won’t want to miss. Registration for September is still open, and forms are available online at www.downtownsheridan.org.  For more information, give us a call at 672.8881.
