Take in a mix of events this weekend in Downtown Sheridan— support important community causes, and dive into music, art, and more as we soak up this beautiful November! Happy Friday and enjoy the weekend! On Friday evening, head on over to Luminous Brewhouse for an evening of lively music and beverages. ‘Cruising and Tris Munsick are teaming up for an Elk Fire Relief concert. Music starts at 6:00 p.m. and Donations of all sizes are encouraged, with a $20 amount suggested! Master photographer Chris Johannsen will be at Expressions Art Gallery & Framing LLC on Friday afternoon and evening with an interactive gallery to tell her incredible story and showcase her stunning work. On Saturday evening, head on over the Kalif Shrine Center and support the Kessler Family! There will be music, a silent auction, raffle and dinner to support Chuck Kessler's cancer treatment efforts. The Event starts at 5:00 p.m. Wrap up the evening by heading over to the Black Tooth Brewing - Sheridan as Tyler Bills will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. A musician from the Black Hills of South Dakota and seasoned road talent, Tyler Bills' powerful vocals and blend of rock and blues sound will make for an awesome show! Special Preview Screening for Ken Burns’ Leonardo Da Vinci
Next Wednesday, November 13th the Sheridan Public Arts Committee and Wyoming PBS will be hosting a Leonardo DA Vinci screening premier. Enjoy refreshments starting at 5:30 PM, followed by a 30-minute preview screening at 6:00 PM of Leonardo da Vinci, directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns, and David McMahan. This screening will showcase compelling clips that delve into the life and work of the remarkable 15th-century polymath. After the screening, listen to a stimulating panel discussion that explores how Leonardo’s extraordinary imagination and deep intellect continue to shape our understanding of humanity and our connection to nature.
