SPOTLIGHT | THE COUNTRY & WESTERN STORE

July 21st, 2023|

Bandit Brand is as unique as creator and owner, Jen McMillan. Jen started Bandit Brand in the early 2000s and stands by the shirts being ethically made and produced in the USA. Each shirt is dyed, cut, and printed by hand and most of the shirt designs are hand drawn, making them original and perfectly vintage. In the fall of 2022, Jen opened The Country & Western Store in beautiful downtown Sheridan. Now, along with Bandit Brand, Jen carries many other carefully curated rock/western brands at the store to bring the right amount of Western chic to the downtown. When speaking with Melody Yuhre, Head of Graphic Design & Branding, she had awesome things to say about store owner, Jen. When Melody was asked what sets the store apart from other places in Sheridan, she said, “Jen is a unique individual! She started screen printing her own shirts and a lot of work and thought goes into her designs and styles. Jen even distresses the t-shirts by hand to create a unique look for each individual piece.” Bandit Brand shirts have a vintage rock-n-roll look. To complement Bandit Brand, Jen also carries Midnight Rider brand shirts as well at The Country & Western Store, which are country western and rock vintage style tees. The shirt Melody is wearing in the photo is Midnight Rider! Something else Melody wanted to mention about The Country & Western Store is that they also carry Western accessories like leather-scented candles, western goods, and vintage [...]

SPOTLIGHT | THE CLOTHING CO. & BABY TOO

July 19th, 2023|

If you have been shopping in Downtown Sheridan in the last 30+ years you have definitely been to Shannon and Steve Kuzara’s establishment. The Clothing Co. & Baby Too is known for trendy clothing with local flare. Shannon curates the brands they carry with great attention to detail, stocking everything from graphic tees, jeans, and baby clothes to the accessories they offer like locally-made travel mugs and jewelry. As Shannon walked around the store showing her favorite pieces, she pointed out the large selection of denim at the Clothing Co., everything from bootcut and straight leg to jegging trendy flare styles. Along with the assorted denim, Shannon wanted to showcase the $5 reader glasses selection in stock – the number of frames is impressively fun! She also pointed out the purses and creatively crafted canvas bags they carry, “I get one of each style so there’s no two alike being purchased. The canvas bags are all one of a kind for us.” She spoke. Shannon also showed the case full of Wyoming tumblers she ordered from a local vendor, they are each exclusively made for the Clothing Co. & Baby Too, “I chose the designs!” She exclaimed. Shannon walked back to the baby section and showed the Wyoming brown and gold baby and toddler clothing items on display. Shannon stated that the Wyoming-themed items go really fast and are frequently purchased as gifts for new babies. You can see why, they’re adorable. Make sure you stop in and see Shannon [...]
