The Historic District Promotions Committee continues to focus on year-round shop local campaigns that help to increase awareness of what our downtown has to offer as well as create incentives and enthusiasm for local shoppers during the off-holiday season. The October Hunting for Bucks shop local campaign incorporates the ever popular hunting season with 4 weekly drawings of $25 Chamber bucks and a grand prize drawing of $300 in Chamber bucks on October 31. Signups begin this Saturday, Oct. 1. Thanks to the City of Sheridan for generously sponsoring the campaign again this year. Aw Shucks! The Last Farmers’ Market

It's the last Farmer's Market of the season!  We will have our final market on Saturday, October 8th at the Whitney Academic Center at Sheridan College from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  We will have a apple pressing, pumping patch, exhibits and a pie baking contest. Bring your pie to the front of the stage between 9:30 - 10:15., please review the Pie Contest Rules. This market will be combined with Sheridan & Landon's Farmers Markets. Sheridan’s Amateur Chopped Competition

We'll this is your opportunity Sheridan to step up and face off with other local home cooks in our best version of Chopped! !! The Sheridan Farmers market will provide the mystery basket filled with fresh market goodies, and you supply the talent!  Grand prize $100 cash and a trophy! Highest Goal Polo Played in the US this Summer

Goose Creek Polo Cup to benefit the Downtown Sheridan Association efforts in supporting stream restoration in Sheridan. Big Horn, Wyoming July 31, 2016 – The Flying H Ranch will be the site of the seventh annual High Goal Polo event fund raiser for the Downtown Sheridan Association on Sunday, July 31, 2016. The Downtown Sheridan Association is organizing this event donated and with the assistance of the Johnston Family and Flying H Polo Club. Monies raised from the event will be used to support the DSA and their ongoing efforts to support stream restoration in Sheridan. There will be a maximum of 15 sponsor tents available, so interested parties are encouraged to contact the DSA office at 672-8881 at their earliest convenience. The community is invited to attend the polo game for $10 a carload. Gates at the Flying H Ranch will open at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 31. Game time is scheduled for .5pm. It’s is a 4 chukker game with a long ball contest, player calcutta and champagne divot stomp! This event is a family friendly event. The Flying H Polo Club was started in 2005. For six weeks each summer the best polo players’ world wide come to Big Horn to play professional polo. The games are fast paced and the players and horses are top notch athletes.
