aMAYzing Places
The Historic District Promotions Committee (HDPC) announced another shop local campaign to run from May 7 to May 22, 2016. The Contest: Shoppers pick up their aMAYzing Place Passport at any participating Downtown Sheridan businesses. From May 7 to May 22, shoppers can get their passport stamped at those businesses. How to Win: Shoppers are encouraged to visit all 63 participating businesses, but can enter the contest with 15 stamps for 1st prize, 10 stamps for 2nd prize, and 5 stamps for 3rd prize. Once the passport are complete, it can be turned in at the Downtown Sheridan Association or Chamber. Passports must be returned by May 25 to be eligible. For participating business click here. Prizes: Three prize levels will be awarded depending on the number of businesses visited. Prizes will include gift cards from participating business and Chamber Bucks. The drawing for the aMAYzing will be held Friday, March 27! No purchase is necessary to win. Pot O’ Gold Lucky Winner!
On Friday, March 18, at 1:30pm, Spencer Kraft, Committee Chair of the Historic District Promotions Committee (HDPC) drew the winning ticket of the Pot O’ Gold shop local campaign! Pat Dunlap of Sheridan, a long time, loyal, local shopper is the lucky winner of a basket filled with 37 great prizes donated by participating local businesses. The value of the Pot O’ Gold is estimated to be over $700! Pat said “this is exciting…I never win anything!” The campaign ran from March 1 through March 17, 2016. Pat filled out her winning ticket at Real Deals on Home Décor. The Historic District Promotion Committee is sponsored by the Downtown Sheridan Association and the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce.
Sheridan’s Premiere Historic Building Renovation!
Introducing Downtown Sheridan's Newest Premier Residential & Commercial Historic Building! The Montgomery Building Tours Sheridan's newest piece of renovated Main Street history, located at 104 N. Main Street will be open to the public for tours. Friday, March 18, 4:00-6:00 pm and Saturday, March 19, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Building owners will lead tours for history buffs, architecture enthusiasts, and anyone else interested in the work that has gone into transforming this 1930s - era property into a prime location for residential, retail, and commercial condominium spaces. Keeping Sheridan "alive and well". The Montgomery will soon have multiple residential condos and commercial spaces available for purchase.
