SHOP SMALL HOLIDAY SPREE WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The Downtown Sheridan Association (DSA) is thrilled to announce the winners of the annual Shop Small Holiday Shopping Spree, which took place throughout the month of November. The holiday season is brighter than ever for the lucky winners of $1,000 in gift cards to be used at select businesses in Downtown Sheridan. This promotion is designed to support local businesses and encourage festive shopping downtown. Each winner was selected through a random drawing after participating in the promotion by texting their receipt after shopping at any downtown businesses. The two winning shoppers were Jennifer Gaona, whose winning receipt was from The Chocolate Tree and Olivia Price, whose receipt was from Verdello Olive Oils & Fine Foods. This year’s event was an incredible success, breaking records and showcasing the community's dedication to supporting local businesses. During the shopping spree, DSA received a staggering 1,531 entries, shattering previous entry records for similar sweepstakes. The totaled dollar amount from receipts submitted by participants amounted to an impressive $107,930.54 spent at local downtown businesses during November. This figure highlights the significant economic impact of the event and underscores the importance of shopping locally, especially during the holiday season.

The holiday magic is in full swing in Downtown Sheridan, and our local shops are ready to help you find the perfect gifts for everyone on your list! 🎅 From unique treasures to handmade goods, there’s something for every style and budget. Here's what's happening this weekend in Downtown Sheridan: This Friday starting at 7 PM, talented musician Knuckles will taking the stage at Black Tooth Brewing - Sheridan! Indulge in craft brews, good company and sounds, and nourishment from food trucks on site! 🍺🎤🍔 Saturday, Frackelton's will be hosting a gingerbread decorating function for kids from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. All necessary materials and gingerbread provided, including bar service for parents for refreshments, including a selection of brand new Christmas cocktails! 🍬🍹🍪 Later on, the Sheridan Bicycle Company and the Bomber Mountain Cycling Club will be hosting their 10th Annual Christmas Roll! This fundraising event is a 21+ event, with a $10 buy in, and requires a helmet, a light and a signed waiver provided by Sheridan Bicycle Company! Stop by at 4 PM to show off your best Christmas attire and bike decor, and depart around 5 PM to begin the poker run! A full line up of happenings are featured in Downtown Sheridan this weekend to get you in the Christmas spirit, 'tis the season!! 🎄🎅❄️☃️ The WYO Performing Arts & Education Center is thrilled to welcome the San Diego Ballet for The Nutcracker! Join them for this beloved holiday tradition on Friday and Saturday at 6:30 PM, and Sunday at 2 PM! Witness the celebrated San Diego Ballet perform alongside over 60 talented local dancers, all gracing the WYO stage! 🎄✨💃🩰 Rock your tackiest threads at Luminous Brewhouse Ugly Sweater Party! Wear your most hideous sweater or flannel and snag $1 off every beer. WEEKEND HAPPENINGS NOVEMBER 29 – DECEMBER 1
The weekend has finally arrived, and there’s so much to be thankful for! Downtown Sheridan is ready to welcome everyone with a festive atmosphere and a full schedule of exciting events to mark the beginning of the Christmas season. There’s something for everyone to enjoy as we come together to celebrate this special time of year. Start this weekend with the 29th Annual Sheridan Christmas Stroll presented by the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce! Dress to impress for the Cowboy Christmas Stroll theme and celebrate community all day Friday 8 AM to 8 PM, with Main Street being closed off at 4 PM for further festivities! Then, beginning at 7 PM stop by Black Tooth Brewing - Sheridan for their anniversary celebration with live music by El Wencho , with Teka Brock and The Clay Halos, and warm yourself with a beverage and delicious eats from food trucks on site! From 11 AM to 4 PM on Saturday the WYO Theater will be conducting a free screening of a selection of beloved Christmas movies, as well as featuring a silent auction in the lobby, courtesy of the Salvation Army!
