FIRST PEOPLE’S POW WOW
The Downtown Sheridan Association extends its deepest thanks to the members of the Crow Tribe for their participation in the First Peoples Pow Wow and Rodeo Parade! This incredible display was one of the most anticipated events during Rodeo Week in Sheridan. It was a privilege to facilitate and enjoy this meaningful tradition with the community. It’s the busiest and most electric week of the year in Sheridan. WYO Rodeo week is here!! Check out these awesome happenings going down in Downtown Sheridan to add to your itinerary. Kick off your Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade Day with some bubbly fun and bold local flavor! Stop by Verdello this morning between 7 AM and 10 AM for a Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar, made possible thanks to the support of Security State Bank. Immediately following the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade at 12 PM, the front lawn of the Historic Sheridan Inn will come alive as Native American Crow dancers and a drum team in full regalia gather to perform traditional ceremonial dances. This vibrant, free event is open to all and offers a unique display of culture and tradition. Maureen Anne Meehan will be hosting a book signing of her Mary MacIntosh series at Sheridan Stationery Books and Gifts Saturday at 10 AM! Meet a talented Wyoming author and pick up a fittingly themed read during your WYO Rodeo week!! Saturday at 11 AM, Luminous Brewhouse is hosting Fatbacks Southern BBQ, The Wyoming Wayfinders for some live tunes, and more!! Great brews and vibes to start the final day of a full and memorable rodeo week. We are so excited for the rest of the WYO Rodeo week here in Sheridan!! See you Downtown!
