The Pine Bluffs Barrel Aged Gin Dinner event on Friday at 5:30 offers a great summer spirit addition and some new ideas to try using gin in the kitchen too! Verdello is thrilled to partner with them and carry their unique spirits in their store. Join Sheridan Stationery Books and Gifts for a summer fun-filled Story Time with guest reader Heather Prosser! Heather will have some fun engaging stories and little activities for the kiddos to do. Start your day off with imagination and fun this Saturday at 10:30 AM. And while you're at it, remember to grab a "Where's Waldo Local" sheet at Sheridan Stationery and visit all the participating stores to find Waldo in throughout Downtown Sheridan! Modern Merchant is hosting their very first Mini Market this Saturday from 10 AM - 4PM! Stop by for fun shopping, entertainment, and overall community connection this weekend. This is the first of three this summer so stay tuned! Kula Space for Reiki Level 1 Training. DSA IS READY FOR WYOGIVES 2023
Downtown Sheridan Association (DSA) is participating in WyoGives, 24 hours of giving happening on Wednesday, July 12. That's less than two weeks away! Supporting the DSA is really easy, just follow the link below to donate directly to DSA on July 12th! Any amount, no matter how small can help and will be matched 1:1! Did you know DSA is funded by grants, sponsorships and you guessed it, fundraising! Do you enjoy the events, activities, beautification, historic preservation, and promotions each year downtown? SPOTLIGHT | PAD THAI RESTAURANT
Peter and Lee Sirivath opened Pad Thai Restaurant in Downtown Sheridan at the end of 2020. The outside of the building is colorful and welcoming with traditional designs to match the interior décor which includes ornate wall hangings and pops of color. Lee is rarely seen without a warm smile, inviting customers into the restaurant like the friends they are (or are soon to be). While enjoying lunch, there were several pick-up orders that went out and a consistent flow of customers being seated and served. Pad Thai Restaurant has great takeout, but Jo, the charismatic wait staff, wants people to know that coming into the restaurant to eat is the best. When you dine in he said, “You can enjoy the experience of having a hot fresh meal that comes out fast!” When asked what their most popular dish is, Jo listed a bunch, but the top few were: Pad Thai Chicken, Drunken Noodles with Beef, and the Bibimbap. The top appetizer? You guessed it, the handmade Crab Rangoon! After speaking to Jo, you feel like he’s there to make sure your experience at Pad Thai Restaurant is enjoyable. He made sure the food was perfect and gave a little back story on the food quality. When asked what sets Pad Thai apart from other places, Jo instantly said the food quality and preparation. ABC Signs & Specialties is a one-stop shop for all of your signage needs. The shop opened in 1991 in the downtown location and is owned by Chris Brown and Christina Arizona. ABC Signs & Specialties can do everything from storefronts with vinyl, graphics and signage, event signage, vehicle lettering and installation, construction site needs, and more! Being able to talk to someone in person about a project is always helpful and the team at ABC Signs is just that, they can assist with everything you need from start to finish with great service. In addition to their excellent service and being able to offer flexible solutions, their estimates and initial setup process is free. When a customer was asked why he chooses ABC Signs for his design needs, he said he enjoys working with Chris because he does good work and they have a great working relationship. ABC Signs & Specialties is celebrating 30+ years on Main Street and is open 9 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday. The sidewalk in front of the business will remain open during construction.
