2023 Farmers Market Season Update
Farmers Market has been a pride of Downtown Sheridan Association (DSA), providing regional vendors a space to sell their goods to the people of Sheridan and surrounding areas. During 2020, DSA maintained Farmers Market through the summer to provide a safe venue to buy local goods and produce in an open-air marketplace. With the challenges that the summer of 2023 has in store, due to construction on Main Street, DSA is placing priority on supporting and promoting on providing support for our existing downtown businesses. Two of those businesses include Freedom Foods and Sackett’s Market, both of which those businesses are in the Downtown District and are excellent partners with all of our Farmers Market producers and currently sell produce from those producers year-round. We’re taking this season off, not as a ‘goodbye’, rather a ‘see you next year with a whole new and revamped farmers market’. Until then, we encourage you to support our vendors at Freedom Foods, Sackett’s Market, Farmers Market at Landon’s Greenhouse, Nursery & Landscaping, and the Farmers Market in Ranchester. And don’t fret, the 3rd Thursday Street Festival is scheduled and will be on Main Street! We are finalizing the space so stay tuned for details and festival info!
