Our Historic Promotions Committee is currently hosting the aMAYzing places for the month of May.  We are featuring downtown businesses on our website and social media platforms so everyone can see the fabulous merchandise available downtown.  If you’re a downtown business and would like to register, please give us a call. We still have booth space available for our 3rd Thursday Street Festival and Farmers Market.  If you are interested in participating in all four 3rd Thursday (June 20, July 18, August 15 and September 19) be sure to get registered by May 24th to get a 10% discount on booth fees.  Both registration forms are available online at www.downtownsheridan.org. This past week, I was able to witness the signing of the project partnership agreement between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Sheridan for the design and construction of the ecosystem restoration for Goose Creek.  This was a surreal moment for me because the Goose Creek Stream Restoration is a project near to our hearts and in which DSA has participated in two phases. Phase I began in 2007 at Kendrick Park and involved cleaning up the creekbed and adding additional aesthetic appearances to the creek and the park.
