It’s already the second weekend of June and summer is here! The kids really win this weekend with the Kids Puff Pastry class and Story Time, but there really is a lot going on in Downtown Sheridan to do with friends and family. If you’re looking for some retail therapy, or you’re out and about and want to enjoy your favorite shops and restaurants, remember that even with construction on Main Street, the sidewalks are open and all businesses are accessible via alley entrance, side street or a short walk from a free public parking area. Need help finding parking? Give us a call, we are happy to help!

June Story Time is here at Sheridan Stationery Books and Gifts! Come in for the first story time of the summer with special guest reader Jessica Martin! Jessica has a great lineup of books to celebrate Dad and a fun craft to make for that special guy!

The Kids Puff Pastry class at Verdello is sure to be a hit this Saturday at 1:30 PM! Have fun working with puff pastry dough in this fun kid’s class with guest Chef Terri! Participants will create a variety of sweet and savory treats and get to try out a few techniques like dough braiding and folding to impress. 7+, parents are welcome to participate with a paid spot.

Ron Franscell will be joining Sheridan Stationery Books & Gifts at Luminous Brewhouse on Saturday at 1 PM to talk about his new crime fiction: Deaf Row. Ron is an acclaimed journalist and author of 19 books, including the international true-crime bestsellers The Darkest Night and ShadowMan: An Elusive Psycho Killer and the Birth of FBI Profiling.
