Come in for the first story time of the summer with special guest reader Jessica Martin! Jessica has a great lineup of books to celebrate Dad and a fun craft to make for that special guy! SPOTLIGHT | SHERIDAN MAURICES
Meet the Sheridan Maurices crew! The Maurices in Sheridan opened in 1984 and has been a staple for locals of all ages. Store Manager, Jana Davis, has a personality that lights up a room and that kind of energy is found in the awesome humans she hires to work at the store. When you go to Maurices to shop, you often leave making connections and friends. When Jana was asked "What's the one thing you want people to come here for?" The assumed answer would be something about finding a great pair of jeans, or the pretty new summer dresses, but nope, not from Jana. She replied with one word, "FUN!" She encourages shoppers to come to the store for fun and stay for the laughs. What's the takeaway from chatting with the Maurices team? Go for the fashion and fun! The staff is kind and helpful, the store is clean and organized and they're open 7 days a week even during construction.
SPOTLIGHT | NOVUS GLASS OF SHERIDAN
Novus Glass Sheridan has been in Downtown Sheridan for over 30 years, as it was once a Windshield Doctor before becoming a NOVUS. This summer brings a big change for them and as of Monday, June 5th, NOVUS will be located in their new home at 1034 Broadway St, located just down from Sheridan Honda. NOVUS manager, Erik Konkel, has been with the company for a while and has transitioned with the business through new ownership in the last year. NOVUS was purchased by Jim and Cindy Wolfe who promoted Erik to Manager from his position as Lead Tech. Erik said something he wants people to know about NOVUS Glass of Sheridan is that windshield work is quite different than people might think. Glass techs need to acquire specific certifications and specs need to be met to do each job successfully. He said there’s a lot of training and learning involved. Make sure you check out NOVUS's new location and enjoy the same great service located just a few blocks North!
