Main Frame has been around since 2002 and in 2020 was purchased by long-time employee Nathan Trampe along with his brother Micah Trampe. To keep it in the family they also employ their brother, Matai Trampe full-time at Main Frame.
In a world of online shopping and big box store options, Nathan encourages people to get their framing done with Main Frame because as he put it, “Micah and I are both local artists and art is our passion. We are perfectionists and can make anything you want. We can accommodate all price ranges and even offer all in-stock frame options at 25% off all the time.” Nathan emphasized that they strive to make sure their prices are low and the quality of the work is high. With a quick turnaround time of two weeks or less, depending on how much work they have, you can’t beat that kind of service anywhere you go. While chatting with Nathan, he pointed out that he, Micah, and Matai were working on stretching an original 4×8 painting from the Sheridan Inn, they have stretched four additional pieces for the ballroom to help enhance and preserve the artwork.
Nathan pointed out several hand-crafted items they carry at the shop, but the one that excited him most is their new house brand called “Full Time Artist”. The shirts and stickers are fun and creatively designed to have a Wyoming theme with a twist. Nathan explained that he designs all of the shirt and sticker styles himself. Main Frame also carries originally crafted industrial-style lamps, earrings, leatherwork, original artwork, and more! They offer really cool items as grab-and-go options and of course an abundance of framing options! Stop in and see Nathan, Micah, and Matai for custom framing, specialty gifts, original art, and of course good conversation. You can access Main Frame on Grinnell Street, located between the Fly Shop of the Bighorns and Verdello Olive Oils & Fine Foods.
