The City of Sheridan is currently working on the East 5th Street Corridor Project.

5th Street is one of the key entryways into Sheridan. The road connects Interstate 90, downtown Sheridan and surrounding neighborhoods and employment areas.

Since 2008, the future of East 5th Street has been brought up in discussion through various other projects and plans. No planning process has been provided for East 5th Street that has a definitive vision that considers the area’s land use trends, constraints and opportunities.

The purpose of the East 5th Street Corridor Plan is to create a common vision that reflects the stakeholders. The stakeholders include business and property owners, residents, WYDOT, the City of Sheridan, Sheridan County, and the broader community. In order to create a successful plan. stakeholders need to continue to engage and implement their vision for East 5th Street.

The link below is an interactive map for East 5th Street. This map provides the community the opportunity to share their feedback with the City of Sheridan regarding this project. For more information regarding this project, contact the City of Sheridan.
